Billing + member portal for fitness studios + trainers

Monthly memberships, class-pack credits, personal-training packages, and a member portal where clients see their balance, manage their payment method, and book sessions — without you fielding the 'why was I charged' email.

Is this for you?

HubWho fits fitness studios + personal trainers who match any of these:

  • You run a boutique studio (yoga, CrossFit, pilates) or solo PT business with 20-300 active members.
  • You sell monthly unlimited memberships AND class-pack credits + 1:1 sessions.
  • MindBody, Glofox, or ClubReady is more software than you need + nickel-and-dimes on payment fees.
  • You want member self-service: pause membership, swap payment method, see their balance.

Fitness-specific questions

Can I sell unlimited memberships + class packs + 1:1 sessions on the same member?+

Yes — each is a separate product. A member can subscribe to 'Unlimited Monthly ($179/mo)' AND have a one-off 'Personal Training Pack of 10 ($600)' all on one account. Portal shows the consolidated view.

Does HubWho schedule classes or just bill?+

Just bill + portal. Keep your scheduling in MindBody or whatever's working — HubWho is the AR + member-facing layer. Sched integration is on the roadmap once tenant demand justifies it.

Can members pause their membership?+

Yes — the portal has a self-serve 'Pause membership' option (configurable per tenant). Pauses up to 90 days; auto-resume on the date they pick. Audit log tracks every pause + resume.

What about family / partner discounts?+

Use a coupon code at signup (built-in discount engine) OR set a custom product price on the subscription. Both work; coupons are easier for one-off promos, custom price for permanent family rates.

How does dunning work for failed cards (gym memberships are notorious for this)?+

When a card fails, HubWho's dunning sequence kicks in: 3 email retries over 7 days, then optional SMS via Twilio. If still no luck, the membership goes 'past_due' — your front desk sees it on next check-in and can collect.
