Who actually fits HubWho — the 30-second qualifier

Stop wasting time on bad-fit prospects. A 5-question filter that ranks every conversation.

The 5-question filter

Ask in order. Three or more 'yes' answers = strong fit. Two or fewer = pass or wait for them to grow.

1. Are you doing $100K+/year in reseller revenue? (Below this, the platform fee dominates and Stripe Billing wins on price.)

2. Do you have 15+ active clients on recurring contracts? (Below this, manual invoicing is fine and HubWho is overkill.)

3. Are you tracking per-client gross margin today? (If yes via spreadsheet → strong fit. If no → strongest fit. If yes via custom BI → push out 12 months.)

4. Are you reselling Vendasta, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or BirdEye/Yext? (If yes to ANY → integration angle. If no → standalone-mode angle.)

5. Do you accept ACH today? (If yes → cost savings is the wedge. If no → 'wait until you're getting eaten on card fees' is the wedge.)

Disqualifiers

Hard no on: 'I do 3 enterprise contracts a year worth $200K each' — they want NetSuite or Sage, not HubWho. Hard no on: 'I'm a 1-person freelancer' — Stripe Payment Links is fine, HubWho is overkill. Hard no on: 'I need Salesforce-grade CRM integration' — wrong tool.

Soft pass (revisit in 12 months): pre-revenue agencies, agencies under 5 clients, agencies who 'just switched to QuickBooks Online' three months ago.
