Getting started

Connect Vendasta to HubWho

Paste your service-account JSON to wire your Vendasta partner account into HubWho.

HubWho talks to your Vendasta partner account via the Partner API using a Service Account. The setup is one-time, takes about five minutes, and never stores your password.

Step 1 — Generate a Service Account in Vendasta

In Vendasta Partner Center, go to Settings → Service Accounts → New Service Account.

Pick the scopes Marketplace + Businesses + Subscriptions + KPI. (Read access for everything HubWho syncs.)

Download the JSON key file. Don't share it — anyone with this file can read your Vendasta data.

Step 2 — Paste it into HubWho

In HubWho, go to Settings → Integrations → Vendasta → Connect.

Paste the JSON file contents. HubWho encrypts it immediately (AES-256-GCM) and stores the ciphertext only — the plaintext is never written to disk.

Click Save. The first sync runs in 2–5 minutes; you'll get an email when it finishes.

What HubWho does with the connection

Reads your Marketplace catalog so invoice line items always match what Vendasta provisioned.

Reads every business under your partner account so you can import them as HubWho clients in one click.

Reads each active subscription so billing reflects what's actually provisioned.

Reads KPIs from each activated product (Reputation, Local SEO, Listings, Social) for the per-client health-score report and the customer portal KPI view.

Optionally pauses/resumes provisioning on delinquent invoices (off by default — turn on in Settings → Dunning).
